Women's Artistic Gymnastics COMPETITIVE TEAM

                    BRONZE

 

Program length: 3 hours, 2x/week for 34 Weeks              

 

Structure: JO Levels 2&3, Flexibility, Strength, Confidence Building Exercises, Intermediate Gymnastics                           Routines from JO Program, Athlete Reward Program

Invitational Meet Options:  Competitive Invitational Athlete Level 2-3

End of YEAR: Last class FUN (park and ice cream) - BANQUET

                       

 

                      SILVER

Program length: 2.5 hours, 3x/week for 34 Weeks              

 

Structure: JO Levels 4&5, Flexibility, Strength, Confidence Building Exercises, Advanced Gymnastics                           Routines from JO Program, Athlete Reward Program

 

Invitational Meet Options:  Competitive Invitational Athlete Level 4-5

 

End of  YEAR:  Last class FUN (park and ice cream) - BANQUET

 

 

 

                       GOLD

Program length:    3 hours, 3x/week for 34 weeks     

 

Structure: JO Levels 6+

Rock & Gold's Women's Artistic Gymnastics Team consists of selected athletes ages 6 years and up who demonstrate:

  • Athletic potential to achieve the skills and routines required to compete in Gymnastics

  • Desire to train the required hours expected for their age/ability category

  • Positive attitude toward other team members/coaches and positive attitude during competition

  • Excellent work ethic and attendance

  • Great Sportsmanship

  • Confidence - ability to perform in front of others

  • Ability to take constructive criticism and use it for self improvement

Our competition team trains with the Junior Olympic Program and attends 2-3 competitions per year by showcasing the skills and routines within their levels.

Athletes focus on building strength and level advancement from September - December.  Once their level is determined, athletes will then focus on mastering the skills, technique, Maintaining their muscle mass and learning/cleaning up their routines for all four events (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor) leading up to competition dates (April-June).

To join our competitive team, athletes must have a pre-competitive or competitive background or invited from the head coach to attend tryouts.
